Makin' Tracks - Services For Independent Living provides transportation services to people with disabilities in Boone County. Consumer rides will be provided to doctor appointments, medical equipment companies, Goodwill, Salvation Army, The Wardrobe, food banks, social service agencies and lawyers, and more. Hours of transportation operations are from 8:00am to 5:00pm Sunday through Friday. Call SIL for details.

Rural Transportation - Services for Independent Living will provide accessible medical transportation to people with disabilities living in rural communities. Medical services may include doctor visits, physical therapy, occupational therapy, medical treatments, preventative care, and other medical services. 2008 Transportation Survey

Please help Services For Independent Living (SIL) to provide better transportation services to people with disabilities by participating in a short survey.

SIL’s Transportation Program is funded in part by The Heart of Missouri United Way and the Missouri Foundation for Health.

 Instructions: 

  1. Open the 2008 Transportation Survey file above and answer all the questions.
  2. When completed, go to “File” and click on “Save As”.
  3. In the “Save As” dialogue, where it says “Save In”, choose a location on your computer to save the file and click “Save” (the default is usually “My Documents”).
  4. Once saved, send the file as an attachment to the following e-mail address;
