Madison Anderson

Director of Community Outreach

Madison is originally from Illinois and moved to Columbia to attend Mizzou. With an interest in public health, Madison interned with SIL her last semester of college and applied for the open Volunteer Manager position in May right before graduation. With experience as an intern across departments and volunteering for SIL programs, Madison was able to join the team already familiar with staff and services. She worked to grow volunteer capacity through local volunteers and college students to adequately serve the need of our community. A little over 3 years into the roll, Madison took the new position of Director of Community Outreach after an organization restructure. Her goal in this position is to build and maximize organizational capacity and to find resources in the community to help SIL better serve our consumers. In her free time, she spends her time at the gym and with friends.
