Patrick Lee

Executive Director

Patrick grew up in a small town in southeast Iowa and attended college at Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville, MO (now Truman State) graduating with a degree in Biology and completing training as a registered Medical Technologist (MT). Over the next 15 years he managed clinical laboratories in several large teaching hospitals. In 1994 he graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Master of Health Administration degree and subsequently held executive leadership positions in hospitals and health systems. His career trajectory brought him to Columbia in 2001 where he served as the CEO for Rusk Rehabilitation Hospital for 5 years. After operating and developing inpatient and outpatient physical rehabilitation programs in other states he returned to Columbia in 2018 to be close to his family, especially his beautiful grandchildren. During his 40 years working in healthcare Patrick has been passionate about improving the health and lives of others through both professional and community service. With a professional and personal life dedicated to serving others, he is grateful for the opportunity to join the amazing team at Services for Independent Living in Columbia to help empower people with disabilities, seniors and veterans to maximize their independence and to promote a barrier free community.
